Scary Earthquake Rocks “Judge” Judy

The ground shook this past Tuesday, when an earthquake that measured 5.4 on the Richter scale struck metropolitan Los Angeles.  Proceedings in the Judge Judy courtroom “show” were interrupted by the sudden seismic event, sending trial observers — and Judge” Judy herself — scrambling for a doorway.  If you have ever been in one of these, you know how eery and helpless you can feel…

Hopefully, none of you or any of your friends or family were adversely affected by this.

  1. That is freaky! I hate earthquakes. I did enjoy seeing Judge Judy look frightened, she can be such a jerk to people.

  2. I see your point about Judge Judy, she is pretty abrasive. Earthquakes are scary stuff. Even though I have never been in one, my husband Tim grew up in Oakland, California, and earthquakes (mostly small tremors) were a common occurrence and he said they are frightening to go through. I did see a reference that stated California has some 10,000 earthquakes each year! Can you believe that?
