I watched the interview on youtube. John was thrilled & amazed that so many people have watched the video (over 12 million have watched different versions). He hopes that this will help people become more aware of conservation and the George Adamson Foundation. John is a trustee of the Foundation. I also watched the documentary "Christian the Lion" last night. Loved it! When I first learned that George Adamson was the shirtless man in Christian's reunion video and he was also the man that the story "Born Free" was about I was amazed. That was my favorite movie as a child! No wonder I watched the video of Christian so many times and cried happy tears every time! George died a hero trying to rescue a tourist. Poachers killed him. His wife, Joy also did amazing work to help animals. I read that she was one of the founders of the World Wildlife Fund. I've been a member for years! Joy was also murdered.
