Typically, it takes a little time to orient new employees to our crazy work environment in the office, the studio, and out on location, as well as to their positions in the business.  This is critical to establishing successful, productive working relationships.

Well, glad to say, Lilly’s first week went great.  As expected, as any new employee, she was a little anxious about getting started with her new “job”. Everyone welcomed here on her first day, and she fit right into our team.  We reviewed her “job description”, our written policies on telephone, fax, e-mail, Internet use, and organizational charts (which she promptly ate), and finally, we went over her Benefits Packet.

As you can see, things are working out great with her!

Lilly uses her two 15 minute breaks to "chill out" in the hammock, then it's back to the grindstone!

Look for Lilly the next time you are by our studio, you won’t regret stopping in to say “hi” to her!

Lilly is an adoptee from here in Kansas City. She’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

[The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel derived its name from King Charles of England. He used these dogs as lap dogs to keep him warm] and just a joyful little thing, she is just 15 pounds or so, and loves affection and a little belly rubbing.   She’ll be with us now in the studio so next time you are in, expect a very warm reception from our newest “and cutest” member of our team!  (And yes, she loves Scooby snacks and the occasional Cheeto. )

I must tell you, I was overwhelmed with the 700 visitors since we posted the video about “Christian”, this remarkably gentle and intelligent lion  (while not surprised, it is very touching!).  Too, I was surprised how many of you were like me, that had never seen or heard of Christian before.  Where have we been?

To be of help, you may want to try and hunt these down.  (so far, I have been unsuccessful).  They are the DVD entitled, “Christian the Lion”, and the book entitled “A Lion Called Christian”.  You can find out more about these in great demand items by following this link.
